This list isn’t complete. Commercial refrigeration works on the same basic principles no matter whose name is on the door, so if your brand is missing, call and ask.
One thing to know first: we’re an independent service company. We aren’t a factory-authorized servicer for these manufacturers, and the brand names belong to them. If your unit’s still under warranty, check with the manufacturer before calling anyone, because they may require their own servicer and you don’t want to pay for a repair they would have covered.
Ice machines
The big names in commercial ice machines are Manitowoc, Hoshizaki, Ice-O-Matic and Scotsman, and we work on all of them. Cleaning and repairs are covered on the ice machine page.
Reach-ins and prep tables
True is one of the most common names on a reach-in door. You’ll also see Traulsen, Turbo Air, Beverage-Air, Atosa, Delfield and Continental, and most of them make prep tables as well. Bar and keg coolers often come from the same companies. See reach-in repair or prep table repair.
Walk-ins and display cases
A walk-in is usually several brands put together. The panels might be Norlake or Kolpak, with a Heatcraft evaporator and condensing unit and a Copeland compressor inside. That’s normal, and it’s why we ask for the tag on each piece if you can get to it.
Grocery and convenience store cases are often Hill Phoenix or Hussmann, and bakery and deli cases are frequently Structural Concepts or Federal.
Finding the model tag
Look for a metal plate or sticker inside the door or on the back of the cabinet. On a walk-in, check the condensing unit and the evaporator too, since each has its own. A photo of the tag gives the tech the model and serial number along with the refrigerant and voltage, which makes it a lot more likely the right part comes on the first trip. You can send it along when you contact us.
No tag at all? It happens on older units. Tell us what you can and the tech will work it out on site.
